Extension Issues 🚫

Extension Not Appearing

Problem: Can’t see fetchin icon in Chrome toolbar.

Solutions:

  1. Go to chrome://extensions/
  2. Find “fetchin”
  3. Make sure it’s enabled
  4. Click the pin icon to pin to toolbar
  5. Refresh your browser

Still not working?

  • Check if extension is installed
  • Try reinstalling from Chrome Web Store
  • Restart Chrome

Extension Not Working on Vinted

Problem: Extension doesn’t respond on Vinted pages.

Check These:

  • ✅ Are you on vinted.co.uk? (Not vinted.fr, vinted.de, etc.)
  • ✅ Are you logged into Vinted?
  • ✅ Are you logged into fetchin?
  • ✅ Is the extension enabled?

Try These:

  1. Refresh the Vinted page
  2. Log out and back into Vinted
  3. Log out and back into fetchin
  4. Restart Chrome

Extension Popup Not Opening

Problem: Clicking icon doesn’t open popup.

Solutions:

  1. Check if popup is blocked by browser
  2. Try right-clicking icon → “Inspect popup”
  3. Check browser console for errors
  4. Try disabling other extensions (conflict check)
  5. Reinstall extension if needed

Picklist Issues 📋

No Orders Showing in Picklist

Problem: Picklist is empty or shows no orders.

Possible Causes:

  • No active orders on Vinted
  • Orders in wrong status
  • Extension not detecting orders

Solutions:

  1. Check Vinted Orders

  2. Check Order Status

    • Orders must be “To Send” status
    • For Vinted: Orders must be in “Payment successful!” status to be detected
    • Important: If you manually clicked “Get shipping label” in Vinted, the order status changes to “Shipping label sent to seller” and fetchin won’t detect it. Let fetchin handle getting labels automatically during “Process Labels”
    • Completed or cancelled orders won’t show
    • Only active orders are included
  3. Regenerate Picklist

    • Close and reopen extension
    • Click “Generate Picklist” again
    • Wait for processing to complete
  4. Refresh Vinted Page

    • Refresh the Vinted orders page
    • Make sure page fully loaded
    • Try generating again

Picklist Taking Too Long

Problem: Picklist generation is slow or stuck.

Solutions:

  1. Wait a Bit Longer

    • Processing can take 30-60 seconds
    • Especially with many orders
    • Don’t close extension during processing
  2. Check Internet Connection

    • Slow internet = slower processing
    • Try better connection
    • Check if other sites load
  3. Try Again

    • Close extension
    • Refresh Vinted page
    • Try generating again
  4. Reduce Orders

    • If you have 100+ orders, it may be slow
    • This is normal for large batches
    • Consider processing in smaller batches

SKUs Not Detected

Problem: SKUs missing from picklist.

Why This Happens:

  • First time using extension
  • SKU patterns not set up
  • Unusual SKU format
  • Product doesn’t have SKU in description
  • You don’t use SKUs in your listings

What Happens:

  • Picklist will show “SKU not found” for those items
  • Labels automatically fall back to buyer’s username
  • Every label will have identifiable information
  • You can still generate picklists and process labels normally
  • Cross-reference buyer names in picklist with usernames on labels

Solutions:

  1. Set Up SKU Patterns (if you use SKUs)

    • Go to Settings → SKU Patterns → Smart Analysis
    • Click “Analyze My Listings” to auto-detect patterns
    • See SKU Patterns Guide for details
    • Or contact support for custom patterns
  2. If You Don’t Use SKUs

    • You can still use fetchin for label processing
    • Set up a pattern with regex (?!) (see Using fetchin Without SKUs)
    • Labels will use buyer’s username instead of SKU
    • You can cross-reference picklist with labels
  3. Manual Entry

    • Add SKUs manually to orders
    • Edit in picklist view
    • Save changes
  4. Contact Support

Label Processing Issues 🏷️

Labels Not Processing

Problem: “Process Labels” button doesn’t work or fails.

Check These First:

  • ✅ Did you generate picklist first?
  • ✅ Are there labels available on Vinted?
  • ✅ Are you logged into both Vinted and fetchin?
  • For Vinted: Did you manually request labels in Vinted? (This prevents fetchin from detecting orders - let fetchin handle labels automatically)

Solutions:

  1. Generate Picklist First

    • Always generate picklist before labels
    • This extracts order data needed
    • Then process labels
  2. Check Vinted Labels

    • Important: Don’t manually request labels in Vinted - fetchin handles this automatically during “Process Labels”
    • Make sure orders are in “Payment successful!” status (not “Shipping label sent to seller”)
    • If you’ve already requested labels manually, those orders won’t be detected by fetchin
    • Some orders may not have labels yet
    • Check Vinted orders page
  3. Try Again

    • Close extension
    • Refresh Vinted page
    • Generate picklist again
    • Then process labels

PDF Not Downloading

Problem: Labels process but PDF doesn’t download.

Solutions:

  1. Check Browser Settings

    • Check if downloads are blocked
    • Allow downloads from extension
    • Check download folder
  2. Check Popup Blockers

    • Disable popup blockers
    • Allow popups for extension
    • Try different browser
  3. Manual Download

    • Check if PDF opened in new tab
    • Right-click and “Save As”
    • Or check download folder

SKUs Not on Labels

Problem: Labels process but SKUs aren’t on them.

Why This Happens:

  • SKUs not detected in picklist
  • SKU patterns not set up
  • Labels processed before SKUs added

Solutions:

  1. Set Up SKU Patterns

  2. Regenerate with SKUs

    • Add SKUs to picklist first
    • Then process labels
    • SKUs will be included
  3. Manual Addition

    • Add SKUs manually if needed
    • Or write on labels after printing
    • Less ideal but works

Account Issues 👤

Can’t Log In

Problem: Can’t log into fetchin account.

Solutions:

  1. Check Credentials

    • Make sure email is correct
    • Check password (caps lock?)
    • Try “Forgot Password”
  2. Reset Password

    • Click “Forgot Password”
    • Check email for reset link
    • Create new password
    • Log in with new password
  3. Check Account Status

    • Make sure account exists
    • Check if account is active
    • Contact support if needed

Subscription Not Working

Problem: Have subscription but features locked.

Check These:

  • ✅ Is subscription active?
  • ✅ Payment method valid?
  • ✅ Subscription not expired?

Solutions:

  1. Check Subscription Status

    • Go to Account → Subscription
    • Verify status is “Active”
    • Check billing date
  2. Update Payment Method

    • If payment failed, update card
    • Go to Manage Billing
    • Add new payment method
  3. Refresh Extension

    • Log out and back in
    • Refresh extension
    • Should update status

Can’t Access Account

Problem: Can’t access account dashboard.

Solutions:

  1. Try Website

    • Go to fetchin.app/account
    • Log in there
    • May work when extension doesn’t
  2. Clear Cache

    • Clear browser cache
    • Clear extension storage
    • Try again
  3. Reinstall Extension

    • Remove extension
    • Reinstall from Chrome Web Store
    • Log in again

Mobile Picklist Issues 📱

QR Code Not Scanning

Problem: Can’t scan QR code with phone.

Solutions:

  1. Better Lighting

    • Ensure good lighting
    • Avoid glare
    • Try different angles
  2. Clean Camera

    • Clean phone camera lens
    • Remove screen protector if needed
    • Try different camera app
  3. Manual Entry

    • If QR code has URL, type it manually
    • Or copy link from extension
    • Open in phone browser

Picklist Not Loading on Phone

Problem: QR code scans but picklist doesn’t load.

Solutions:

  1. Check Internet

    • Make sure phone has internet
    • Try Wi-Fi if data slow
    • Refresh page
  2. Try Different Browser

    • Use Chrome on phone
    • Or Safari (iOS)
    • Clear browser cache
  3. Generate New QR Code

    • QR codes expire
    • Generate new one
    • Scan again

Performance Issues ⚡

Extension Running Slow

Problem: Extension is slow or laggy.

Solutions:

  1. Close Other Tabs

    • Too many tabs slow Chrome
    • Close unused tabs
    • Restart Chrome
  2. Disable Other Extensions

    • Other extensions may conflict
    • Disable temporarily
    • See if speed improves
  3. Update Chrome

    • Make sure Chrome is updated
    • Old versions may be slow
    • Update and restart

Processing Taking Forever

Problem: Picklist or labels taking very long.

This is Normal If:

  • You have 50+ orders
  • Internet is slow
  • First time processing

Solutions:

  1. Be Patient

    • Large batches take time
    • Don’t close during processing
    • Wait for completion
  2. Check Internet

    • Slow internet = slow processing
    • Try better connection
    • Or wait for better time
  3. Process in Batches

    • If you have 100+ orders
    • Process in smaller groups
    • More manageable
