InPost Label Cropping Fixes (Vinted) 📦

• Fixed clipped InPost labels: Vinted began serving new InPost label templates with content shifted. The old fixed crop box cut off zone headers and caused labels to appear cropped or sideways in merged PDFs
• Dynamic layout detection: Label processing now detects new layout variants for both locker and home delivery
• Smarter courier detection: More data in the PDF files are now used to identify the correct courier type and crop path

Extension Popup Loading Fix 🔄

• Fixed infinite loading spinner: Opening the extension could get stuck on “Loading…” until Chrome was restarted. This happened when the background service worker returned no response during the initial status check
• Removed duplicate status requests: The popup no longer fires two heavy status requests on open, which was causing race conditions with the service worker
• Better recovery: If the background script does not respond, the popup now retries automatically and falls back to the login screen instead of spinning forever

SKU Detection Refinements 🎯

• Tighter built-in fallbacks: When your custom SKU patterns do not match, the extension now only falls back to SKU: and sku: in descriptions — removed broader built-in patterns (Product Code, Item Code, Model, Style) that could pick up the wrong text
• Buyer username safety net unchanged: If no SKU is found after your patterns and the SKU: / sku: fallbacks, the buyer’s Vinted username is still printed on the label so every parcel stays identifiable

How Updates Work 🔄

Automatic Updates

fetchin updates automatically through the Chrome Web Store. You don’t need to do anything - just keep using the extension and you’ll receive updates automatically.

Checking Your Version

To see what version you’re running:

1. Click the fetchin icon in your Chrome toolbar
2. Look at the bottom of the popup - your version number is displayed there
3. Or go to chrome://extensions/ and find fetchin to see the version

Update Notifications

When a new version is available:

• Chrome will automatically update the extension
